A new Gift with Olde Spirit

In December, audiences will once again be treated to the annual Christmas musical gift A Christmas Carol, the musical, based on the story by Charles Dickens. This year’s production, presented free to Bay Area audiences, will feature an exciting new musical score, written by Alan Menken, composer of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Little Shop Of Horrors, among others. Lyrics are by Lynn Ahrens who is known for her work in Once On This Island.  The production will feature an entirely new set design and costumes. The music will be provided by a live orchestra with a team of directors. The performances will begin with a Gala reception following the opening night performance.Christmas Carol "The Gift"
December 5, Tickets for the Gala Performance cost $40,for reserved seating and reception 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, and 14 Showtimes will vary at either 7:30 p.m. or 2 p.m.
NDNU Theatre . All other performances are general seating, and are free.
